Rules and Guidelines 

All rules are final. If you or your film do not meet the requirements below, please do not apply. Below is a checklist to ensure you are ready to submit.

• Filmmakers/Directors must have been between ages 13 - 24 by the time the film was completed. The age of the director must be listed on the submission form. 

• Films must be made after January 2018 

• Films must be under 15 minutes long 

• No hateful content  

• All genres are welcome, both fiction and non-fiction 

• Films must be sent by a youtube link, downloadable Vimeo link, WeTransfer, or Dropbox

• Films must be under 4GB in size and 1080p in quality 

• Filmmakers are encouraged to submit two copies of their films, one with credits and one without. This is to eliminate bias when judges are choosing the screening list. This is preferred, but not mandatory 

• No rough cuts 

• Submitters must complete the submission form and checklist when handing in deliverables 

• Press Kits are a plus, but not required. Please submit a poster, production stills and/or behind the scenes photos if you have them

• Submit a full list of your cast and crew

• No copyrighted music or footage 

• Director and submitter must be current residents in the Windsor-Essex area

• Submissions will open on May 13, 2020

• The submission deadline is May 20, 2020, at 11:59 pm

• Submissions are free!
